The lights were on during the whole film. The dim lights that are on during the trailers was on throughout the movie. I asked twice to get them turned off. I was told they are safety lights that cannot be turned off and they are quite bright in some screens. It ruined the experience completely. After the movie i spoke to another employee who gave me the same feedback but issued us free tickets for another visit. Nice gesture. Not sure I want to sit through another movie if it's under the same circumstances.... Not to mention the sound was low too. Completely ruined the experience.
Comfortable seats while watching the movie and many toilots are clean and nearby to the screen. Only disappointment is that it is a little bit on the expensive side, food wise mainly because it costs about £25 for me, my sister, my mom and my dad and then an extra £40 to watch the movie. However, is great for a cinema. X

Just like the cinema used to be! Not too noisy, overcrowded or pushy. No giant popcorn or cola! Nice little bar, ice cream and good films! Pleasant, helpful staff. Cheaper than the multiplex, discounts for regular supporters. Car park is across the road; easily accessible by public transport. Look out for the live broadcasts from London (and other) theatres too. Lots of other activities going on at the lighthouse. If you've never been, it's well worth exploring what's on offer. Heartily recommended!
Found memories of the Light House as a child. I'm now enjoying taking my daughter. Keep up the good work guys.

Amazing shows throughout the year, nice and friendly people, affordable prices. I just love this place!
Great little theatre. Not so main stream. Lots off varied and interesting performances. Plenty of parking nearby and close to places for food and drink. Avoid Broad St. Full of drunks and crackheads..

Great networking event at the theatre preceded an amazing evening performance of Beautiful, the Carole King story. Fantastic cast, sooo incredibly talented, left everyone in awe! Beautiful theatre, great front of house staff, fab catering and wonderful hospitality! Thank you!
Always a good night out at the Grand. Parking isn’t an issue. Staff are friendly and attentive. Unfortunately had a technical issue with sound all through the first period of our last show but was fixed for the finale. Great bar to relax also.
